Father Jacob Hsieh, O.Praem.

Father Jacob Hsieh, O.Praem., is a Norbertine priest of St. Michael’s Abbey in Silverado, California, where he serves in the community’s mission of liturgical prayer and care for souls. Immersed in the 900-year tradition of the Norbertine Order, he contributes to the abbey’s vibrant spiritual life through his dedication to sacred music, particularly Gregorian chant, and his passion for sharing the rich traditions of the Catholic faith. A graduate of Thomas Aquinas College, Father Jacob was ordained in 2015 and previously served at Ss. Peter and Paul Church in Wilmington, teaching chant and leading the schola for the Latin Mass. Now based at St. Michael’s Abbey, he continues to inspire through his ministry, drawing others closer to Christ through prayer, music, and education.
