Join the Brotherhood of Penitents of St. Dismas for the Pilgrims of Hope Men's Retreat, a day dedicated to prayer, fraternity, and spiritual renewal. Through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, inspiring conferences, Eucharistic reflection, opportunities for Confession, the Holy Rosary, and fellowship with other Catholic men, participants will be encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ and embrace their vocation with renewed courage and hope. Whether you are seeking spiritual direction, a stronger prayer life, or authentic Catholic brotherhood, this retreat offers a meaningful opportunity to grow in faith.

• 10:20 AM – Conference III: "Anchored in the Storm: The Masculine Vocation to Stability" – Fr. Alan Benander, O.Praem.

Fr. Miguel Batres, O.Praem.

Fr. Miguel Batres, O.Praem., is a Norbertine priest of St. Michael's Abbey in Silverado, California. He is known for his faithful preaching, pastoral ministry, and dedication to forming Catholics in a deeper life of prayer and discipleship. His conferences emphasize living an authentic Christian life rooted in the Eucharist, prayer, fraternity, and missionary zeal. Through practical and spiritually rich teaching, Fr. Miguel encourages men to grow in holiness while faithfully fulfilling their vocation in today's world.

 

Fr. Alan Benander, O.Praem.

Fr. Alan Benander, O.Praem., is a Norbertine priest of St. Michael's Abbey who has devoted many years to Catholic education, priestly formation, and spiritual direction. His preaching combines theological depth with practical wisdom, helping Catholics understand how to live their faith with courage and perseverance. His conferences frequently focus on virtue, stability in the spiritual life, and the call of Christian men to lead their families and communities through faithful witness.
